The tournament will be held on November 1st, 2nd and 3rd, Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively, at Nam-Ban Club facilities: Círculo Catalán de Madrid, Plaza de España nº6, Madrid 28008 (Tlf: +34 915416090).
Hyunsub Kim
Along the tournament the professional player Hyunsub Kim (3p) will be available to comment games. He also will perform some side-activities that we will anounce on the tournament.

Format
- Mc-Mahon system, 6 rounds
- Japanese rules (see rules)
- 6.5 komi
- Time: 60 minutes per player per round, plus Canadian byoyomi (15 stones in 5 minutes). With digital clocks, players will have 3 byoyomi periods of 30 seconds.
The XVI Spanish Go Open is open to all Go levels and to all nationalities.

Remember you have to be at the playing premises the day the tournament starts in order to participate.
Prizes
All prizes depend on the tournament income after taking into account the tournament expenses
- Tournament winner: 70% of tournament revenue and trophy
- Second best: 20% of tournament revenue and trophy
- Third best: 10% of tournament revenue and trophy
Notice
Attendance at the tournament involves the transfer of rights of image to Go Club Nam-Ban for a possible public communication by Internet of photographs taken at the event.
